I can't find who said it in this thread about the expansion pass and that WtT is the last one. I believe that claim is false. This thread,

Which is typical for most development projects in any IT, you never know for sure until the specs are final and you dive into the code.
I mean they don't take long to install, so it's not like it makes any difference if you buy on the day, does it?
We all know that WW2 was a war just between Germany, UK and US, and maybe (just maybe) the USSR. The rest was minor footnotes. /irony.

I pre-ordered from PDX once and I seem to remember there was some waiting and some stuff I had to do on the website so I started playing at least 15 minutes later than I could have if I had ordered on Steam.

I remember something about Hitler saying Poland has attacked and since 5:45 Germany is shooting back, so maybe Poland was involved too,.... Might mistake that for world war I though.
I don't know anything about PDX's dev cycle for this but I sure hope they used more than just a single book for their research, Chinese-language and Japanese sources usually contain way more on the subject.
Well he is a British historian of Indian descent who has spent his life working on the history of republican China. I wouldn't expect staff at Paradox to go interrogating primary sources themselves for every single nation, especially when there are succinct secondary sources available for use such as this book.
Using a single source, no matter how good, is a big no-no.
It probably isn't reasonable to expect them to go to primary sources, however, I'd hope they wouldn't rely on a single secondary source. (They have in the past though, so, not super optimistic)

Well in my opinion I think there are far more productive things the devs can be spending their time on than capturing every nuance of one specific nation out of the entire map. They are game developers first, not historians.
