Trading for nothing

When you have a "RED" deal (deal not accepted at the world market) you still pay the resources even if you get nothing in return.

As Germany I had set up several deals for 100 rubber, and when they went red I didn't immediately cancel them. After a couple of days I really wondered what had happened with my coal supply. When I checked the ledger I saw that apparently my trade people were happy to showel it out on the open market for no return!

It's actually not a but, but working as designed. All ressources offered go into the world market stock. Then those ressources get distributed among the bidders, starting with the highest priorities. So even though you may not getting something in return your ressources are gone.

However, if you feel this to be wrong, or could be handled in a better way, make your voice heard on the "constructive comments" forum. :)
