playing egypt i noticed a civilwar in rome happens. the rebel faction won.

1. after changing the tag from rebell to rome, the messages in diploscreen about rome hold the old messages from the rebells, e.g. "Views Rome as natural rivals." and "Feels threatened by Rome".

2. the governmenttype of this "new" rome is Imperium, but Rome hold only ~15 provinces and not the 50 which where necessary for a change to Imperium.

The AI "threats" and "rivals" flags are updated regularly during the game. If after several years the labels don't change - report the issue again: it may become an issue. In theory, the

That's odd, even more so since "Republics" should not be allowed to feature "Imperium" as government (whether that is good or bad). Reported to get feedback, thanks.

i noticed that for a couple of years, i think about 10 years. unfortunalty i have no savegame for better reporting. :(

Actually, this time a savegame is not required. It's rather straightforward to duplicate the issue: by letting a civil war faction win - or even modifying AI values in a savegame. Seeing as ten years seem rather long, I will inquire.

Edit: upon second thought, a nation changing tag for whichever reason should never sport its own tag among the threats.
