Games for Windows magazine
Hi guys,
Just to clarify, 1UP is actually one of the bigger sites around and needless to say we always want to increase the player base of our games so that we can continue to do more and more of them. Visibility in meanstream media also means that the retailers are more likely to stock our games -> you get a chance to buy them off shelf etc etc.
In addition, 1up is linked to the Games for Windows magazine, a completely PC devoted magazine. You can say what you will about Microsoft but the reality is that by their sheer size, anything they do to boost PC game awareness and PC shelf space is automatically a bonus for a PC games compnay like us
.
Now - not that you should need any more encouragement but one of their editors is a real strategy buff and has played all of our games and UNDERSTANDS THEM which is also very unique and that's one of the main reasons we work with this site
