Yes, I need two or three volunteers and their Mercenary outfits to appear in a story of mine. It would be nice, if those daring enough would provide:

- name of the Mercenary Company
- name of the Commander (maybe a bit background)
- name of the Company`s Dropship (if existant)

I assume you mean the player character we've chosen in this game?

In that case, my first one was a Leonard 'Yahont' Woodman, a... ah, yes, 'deep periphery' betrayal survivor that went to join an Inner Sphere mercenary outfit and ended up in command of the 'Bunnies' onboard the Argo. (It never occurred to me to name the dropship, sorry.) The crest choice was the standart Atlas head logo, colors were primarily pastel blue with black accents.

CO History: former House Steiner Noble who escaped with massive inheritance and lived the good life until money ran out. Used his inherited highlander 733p to make a living afterwards. Because the periphery has a lot of use for such a mech managed to hire himself out to several Merc outfits until he got placed in charge of one because it was basically handed to him like much else in his life. Cynical would best describe him. Models his company after the former Roman Empire back on Terra as kind of a memento to his noble heritage.

Has a love for Manticore tanks has highly effective killing machines.

Dropship: Blake's Bane (Modified Union that can carry two lances of mechs and a lance of vehicles)

CO Background: A veteran of the First Davion Gaurds, Cassandra and her lance decided to go mercenary after discovering a cache of forgotten equipment and mechs. Piloting a MAD-3D Marauder, Cassandra has lead her lance through a series of lucrative and successful contracts that has seen her unit expand from a meager lance of salvaged, half-derelict mechs to two fully lances of mechs and a supporting lance of vehicles. The units dropship, the Blake's Bane, was taken during a desperate breakout when a contract for House Marik went sideways. Cassandra remains loyal to House Davion and will nto take any contracts that would but her unit against the Federated Suns and she will take any chance she can to strike against House Liao and the Taurian's. The units name was the result of a joke during a brainstorming session when it was initially formed, but it was kept because everyone felt it was unique. Sometimes though it gets shortened to simply the Fighting 37th.

If it’s in the Periphery, then the Fighting Fringers are a small unit happy to take any paying job. Mostly picking up small time garrison contracts in the Concordat/Fronc/Magistracy neighbourhood.
CO: Major Edward Black, a crotchety ex-Taurian Defence Force officer and heir to a fortune. Pilots “Taurian Pride” an ancient and much modified Marauder.
Dropship: The Junkheap; an old SLDF Dictator from the NV Uprising they found by an old mining outpost, stripped of weapons.

I have a draft of their early history I can send you when I get home, if you’d like (In fact, didn’t you start the unit background thread in the fan-fic sub-forum? I posted a little something in there) . But the short of it is a handful of Concordat Cuirassiers, under Edward Black, came to the end of their service and struck out with the noble intention of protecting the innocent hard-working inhabitants of the Periphery (for a fee of course); and gathered other Periphery freelancers to their banner (they only recruit from the Periphery - Spheroids are too soft and wouldn’t understand). The unit as a whole prefer defensive operations (with a preponderance of heavy mechs in their roster) and are extremely stubborn, preferring to hit the enemy straight on, and refusing to leave the field until the battle is truly lost, usually forming the rearguard for a retreat.
