Well, i just tryed enter in Vnet and the game just close... but i can play by IP.. Another problem is after 1 2hours the game just close... i put auto-save but its a little boring the game go down like that... help?

When you say it "just close", what do you mean?
Were you navigating in vnet or hosting up?
Did the game freeze or did EU2 crash completely?
Are you hosting?
Did your connection crash or the game?
Did you crash or the host?
Are you using dial-up, ADSL or cable?
Are you using a firewall, if so what is it?
That should do for the time being.

I'm not sure we're going to be able to help you, but we'll see.
Do you mean click on the button to enter vnet and it crashes, or do you mean you click to navigate around once you are in vnet and it crashes, or do you mean you click to join a game and it crashes?SirDaniel said:

Have you tried disabling this firewall to see if the game works then?
Sounds like you have a firewall that has not have the ports for V-Net open. Do you have a firewall?SirDaniel said:

I know someone who used to have this problem. If possible, host up directly over IP once the host has hosted up in vnet.

1) You can play with direct IP, but not through V-Net, right?
2) You don't have a firewall and you don't have a router (if you have either or both, could you please tell which trade and mark for both?). You are not in a LAN, but have direct connection to the net, what type of connection connection do you have?

I have the same problem, discussed in this thread. I made sure I got all the basic stuff right. I can play other online games just fine. No router, Zonealarm and Windows XP SP2 Firewall turned off, clean install with 1.08 and Feb 05 beta, ADSL connection. EU2 crashes the instant I press the V-Net button.
Well, if you really have done the basics (ie clean reinstalls after you defragged your hard-disk, and after installing has renamed the video-folder to something else) then i'd say it is a driver problem. Check if updated drivers are available to your sound-card and graphics-card.Defenestrator said:
Graphics card has the latest drivers (it's a GeForce4 Ti-4200). I have on-board sound, and the motherboard company (MSI, I have a KT4V, about 2 years old) is kind of unclear about what drivers I need. However, I turned the music off in the EU2_Settings, and the V-Net connect screen shouldn't pose a challenge vis-a-vis sound; furthermore, sound works perfectly in the game. However I'll give updating sound drivers a try when I have time to risk it.
