We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
there is two ways to go about either you edit it directly in the vanilla localisations, its a bit messy and will get overwritten if there comes a new patch.
the best way would be to make a mod and inside it make a cvs file were you write the new localisation in there(its the localisations that matters for how text gets displayed ingame) try taking a look on how its done in my mod here
open the mod and click on the localisations folder, the file were I keep my culture specifik titles is the one called nobletitles.cvs.
btw the the code for the vlach culture is romanian (its just localised as vlach)so you need to write localisaions for romanian if you want to change the vlach titles

I have opted for the first method editing the localalization file...ill just put my code away in another file and if a patch comes it will just take me a second to put the modification on again.
However i ran in to some issues
1 I dont understand what some of the title tags mean like city_baron_romanian does this mean a city ruled by a member of a dinasty? or city_duchy_of_romanian a city ruled by a member of a dinasty that has a duke title?
2 After changing some of the tags i entered my game i had a vlach dinasty campaign going on so i went to load it...on the load screen it said ban ion of feher which was good my modification was working but when i loaded the game it said count ion of feher again...why is that?

I cant ask you every single tag i dont understand there are many...can you just give me a general rule how the tags are composed? or just tell me what the tags are for mayor and bishop i havent identified them yet...also any idea on my second issue there?
It's quite easy.
The first part is the title, like "duke". (duke)
Now, there are three type of titles, Church Titles (temple_duke), Republic Titles (city_duke) and Nobility Titles (duke)
Each of those can have a female counterpart but only Nobility Titles are worth because it's technically impossible to a woman to hold a Church or Republic. To make a female title simple add "female" before the culture name and after the rest of the title. (duke_female_culturex)
To make a title exclusively for a culture, simple add that culture's name after the title. (random_title_culturex)
There are a few titles that use "title" before, they are mostly titles associated with status and not lands held. They are titles like Queen Mother (title_queen_mother_culturex) and Prince (title_prince_culturex) or Princess (title_prince_female_culturex)
Each category (Barons, Counts, Dukes, Kings, Emperors) have their own title for Rulers Consorts. Those can be of both sexes (baron_title_ruler_consort_culturex or baron_title_ruler_consort_female_culturex)
There also are some titles that refer to Jobs (job_marshal) and some localisations that refer to the name of the holding itself (barony_of_culturex or city_barony_of_culturex)
As there don't appear to be any Vlach titles in 1.06, why not compile an accurate list and submit them for inclusion in 1.07?
Well ill work on this and try to get things as historical as possible but there is a lot of research to do and i wanna develop my vlach dynasty campaign first

the de facto liege sets the localisations, if you brake away or get the hungarian crown yourself, you will get your vlach localisationsOh it gets pushed from above is that it?...Im under the king of hungary

Any romanians out there have any ideas what to call a mayor leading a county or a duchy?...I called mayors "Jude" but im open to suggestions there is very little info about cities in that age

What do you mean by "Duchy names"?
Are you talking about the "Duchy of Galicia" -> "Ducado de Galicia" or about the actual name of the Duchy (In this case, Galicia)

You can simple use those strings:
d_galicia -> Galicia
d_galicia_adj -> Galician
The "d" means it's a duchy. If it was a kingdom for example it would use "k"
The "_adj" stands for the adjective of that title.
Hey my temple tags are being ignored my other tags appear ok...my basic tags are: "temple_baron_romanian_catholic" , "temple_barony_of_romanian_catholic" for bishop and bishopric...
dont go saying romanians are orthodox cause in my game they are not i chose to turn the whole country catholic...or at least the part i rule

Religion over-rules cultural definitions I think, so it's not possible to get cultural specific titles for theocracies, as they are defined universally for catholics.
is that just for catholic? is there no way to do this without editing the general tags?
