Vision Park - what is their malfunction?

What is the problem with Vision Park? They have had the publishing deal in Scandinavia for ages, yet when the game is actually finished they just sit on it like a dead hen on a golden egg.

Can you even imagine Interplay treating 'Baldur's Gate II' in a similar fashion?

Vision Park is not so big that it can afford to spit in the face of Paradox and the legions of frothing grognards who are likely to reenact the Deluge if they don't get this game within a week.

I just now received a mail from Vision Park Norway, who told me that the norwegian (and therefore probably the danish) version of EU will not be released before 2001(in january).

With the English version right around the corner (at least that was the impression I got from the other post) don't Vision Park realise they'll loose a lot of customers... Oh well I would rather have an english version anyway...

Considering the way Paradox appears to license games, an English publisher would only be able to distribute the game in English-speaking countries. So Vision Park won't lose customers unless Scandinavians decide to order the game from Britain.

But we most likely will at least if the swedish one is not relased before that.

I am going to barf if I hear another Scandinavian speaker complain about the release date. At least you have a release date, unlike us purely English speaking folks.

Correction: We HAD a release date, the 12th of December. But appearantly Vision Park has decided to postpone the Danish release until freaking January.
Now, I'm a peaceful man, but it really makes me I really would like ask Vision Park to reconsider in Ye Olde Wiking Way )

Could someone please clarify this for me ?
When it comes to release date I've collected this data, could someone please tell me if that is correct ?
Germany: Released 20th October (has the game reached normal retail stores yet BTW ?)
Norway: Relase January 2001
Denmark: Release January 2001
Sweden: Release December 1st ??
UK and US: Distributer announced very soon ? And then hopefully a release date ?

Is there anything else we know ?
