You can customize your divisions with icons, color them how you want, and rename divisions to whatever you want. So what I am unclear on is what of this information is available to your enemy (or potential friends). In the stream we can see question marks at first, then later icons appearing and on the few occasions where the enemy units are moused over, a name for the types can appear (EX at 51:20 of Hungary games 3, 8 of Infantry type 1, 2 of Infanterie Division).

So what I would like to know is in a multiplayer game, what can we see, and what can others see of ours.
1. Name of Division (Not really to important, as most divisions will be auto named, and I wont care much about single divisions)
2. Name of type of Division (Most concerning, as I like to name division types according to their purpose or strength, IE "Badass Fast Tanks" or "Police Division")
3. Icon (If all my paratroopers have a Heart icon, this will increase enemy morale!)
4. Color (probably not a issue, but I want my enemy to see all my horribly pink division on their border, if they cant see it, then I'm just causing myself pain, and that is no fun)

So what information is available to the enemy players? Encryption and decryption could obviously play a part in this, as it should, but I don't think type names should be included. Names the player gives his custom divisions type should not be visible under any conditions, as its more for organization for the player, and if it has a chance of being visible, then default names would be preferred as they give away less information. The icons as well should not be visible, the game should use the most appropriate default one for the division (ex if you have 4 inf brigades and 1 art, it should show the helmet and not your choice of a lightning bolt).

Encryption and Decryption determin what you or your enemy can see of the divisions, correct. If you have really bad decryption while your enemy has good encryption you might not even know how many or if there is a division there (unlikely but possible). In the end you can customize your divisions as you want and i dont see why the enemy shouldnt be allowed to see it if he has better de- than you have encrytion. That is in the end the whole point of de/encrytion.
