Alright me hearties.
At this point we have KJ, Drake, Mats, CG, Ear, Cicero, Waribana and me interested and accepted.
We have Miozozny considering and accepted if deciding to participate.
We also have Burning EGO and Alfonso interested.
@EGO: I´m going to ask of you to publicly promise to abstain from engaging in endless discussions, whining etc. Basically you will have to respect my authority in this matter. If I tell you to can it I expect you to can it. If you can agree to these terms I´d be very happy to have you in this campaign. Because, imo, you are a first rate player but also, unfortunately, a real pain in the ass. So just concentrate on excelling INGAME, defeating us all and winning the campaign. No rants on the forum. No flame wars. No personal vendettas. Just shut up & play. Dogma?
(As discussed in ICQ if you get seriously fed up or feel unjustly treated you have the right to resign from the campaign if possible between sessions and of course without a rant in this forum.)

I want to keep edits to a real minimum. This effectively means strict appliance of the "shut up and play" policy here as well. Outright and extreme cases (such as a ghosted country haven fallen apart due to revolts, extreme inflation gain due to having minted the whole session while being ghosted etc.) will be decided on a case by case basis and taken care of. But in doubt just leave it be (fixing policy sliders, raising stab etc. etc). Just relax and play on.

This only depends on what do we want to play. I am not going to take a part of beta testing something horrible once again.
Personally, I was potentially thinking of a Vanilla scenario to keep things simple. I´d also be okay with a Watk-scenario or FTG (if everybody gets the game and it is reliable and stable in MP).

This is not the ultimate, uber holy, set in stone roster. If you are absolutely unhappy with your placing make a post and I´ll reconsider. Bear in mind, however, that I´ve asigned countries primarily based on the perceived skill level and reliability of players. If you´ve been placed in a second tier country (Poland, Venice, Portugal) chances are slim to nil that you´ll be moved to a primary country.
My idea was to balance Drake and EGO with KJ and Mats, me with KJ and Cicero, and CG with Ear and Mats. The perhaps greatest challenge, in this constellation, will be placed on Mats as he´ll have a heavy time in the middle between EGO, CG and Drake. Then again Mats has been, imo, the most impressive newcomer into our community in recent years.
And I am confident that in this constellation we´ll have a decent chance of getting a highly interesting and dynamic campaign going.

Finally, I would propose to create an adjudicative triumvirate of 3 dudes who have final say in such matters where I am personally involved (like for example I´m in war with someone and the chap is of the opinion that I´m not being an objective GM due to my personal involvement etc.).
In such cases the person in question is able to appeal to said triumvirate.
The triumvirate will then debate the matter and decide by majority vote. The person in question will then respect the decision of the triumvirate and shut up and play. And I will do the same.
I would nominate KJ, Drake and Mats for these posts if they are willing that is.

Mmm, not exactly my first choice of countries... But i guess it's a good way to teach you all an unexpected lesson. Beware! Preference of those three to Venice, or with a friendly Spain, Portugal. But Venice i think more. Crappy monarchs but all the more glory ofcoourse. And, true, i'm not as reliable as CG, or as impressive as Mats, but still... be ware, as i am Wari.

well given the choice id prefer to have drake play with us then letting wari go to bed at 23 cet
also id really prefer if we play at 20cet otherwise i might be late for the game, since i usually get home at 19 cet on mondays and all it would take to be late is extra traffic or having to stay a little longer on university.

I am not really interested on playing this. I really dont want to play something in vanilla. And definetely not as Bradenburg. And i wouldnt like to play on FTG either because all of a sudden the campaign could go to hell due to some minor crap.
And... come on, putting a pansy like Drake on France would make a boring game. Zzzzz...
Once you guys make a definite choice to what you are going to play, then, and only then, can i say if i would like or not to play.
Re the simulatenity rule, I was thinking perhaps some badboy and stab penalty should be imposed for a rule breach - something like 10-15 BB and -1 stab for each affected party. So for example if you bought some provinces by taking it but then refusing to pay it, then you are fined 10 BB & -1 stab. However, if you in a war with an alliance of 3 countries, and agreed to an alliance peace, but at the last minute, you don't sign peace with one country then you are fined 30 BB and -3 stab (since not only is the country that is left fighting at a disadvantage, so are the others, snce they will have harsh peace breaking stab costs),

I share the same opinion. On the other hand it doesnt seem to be real fun to play as a tradeing nation for a warmonger like me.
As I said, I can't play before the other campaign is over or at least reaching for the end. Not really interested in two campaigns per week. Or, I am interested, but I will not find the time.
