That is a good idea. AFAIK, the Bavarians tried to create such a "minor germany" to counter the Prussian-Austrian dualism.
There was Lithuanian kingdom for a short time in 1917 (only several months) IIRC with German prince as King “Mindaugas II”. Also there was an idea of independent Duchy of Courland.ptan54 said:Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and Finland are made German puppets. Do you mean a united Baltic Kingdom, i.e. Est + Lat + Lith as one kingdom?

I would be glad to do such a minor modification, if someone could point me in the direction of some census information for the time period (ie, where each group was located, how many of each, etc)

Switzerland it's a neutral country and it's better to keep a swiss culture for it (no interest for your neigbour to attack you).

The cultural war is a thing between the prostestants and the catholics within the Reich (bavaria, polish guys etc.) and the pope... but somehow they are lil strange in my eyes...

I think the year of revolutions should be a stronger pull for democracy. In the game youmostly deal with a few rebels here and there if you are a more powerful German minor. I think it should also have more of an immediate political affect.
I also felt it odd that Germany had no claims on Austria, even though Austria had been part of the German confederation

Contradiction said:Well, Germany does have claims on 3 provinces, I believe(though I could be wrong) that they're Karlsbad, Cieszyn and Troppau. About claiming the entirety of Austria though, idk.
That reminds me....historically did Germany gain those 3 areas which they had claims on? I know it doesn't give them to you in the Austro-Prusso war event. Were they acquired diplomatically or through another war or were they ever acquired?
Edit: Damnit, double post, my bad, the 2nd one though is the one where I made the changes(I clicked stop in my browser then made the changes)
G-Klav said:The three provinces you speak of in Austrian Silesia, wasn't acquired by Germany until the annexation of Sudetenland in 1938, which was a diplomatical annexation.
None of these provinces were acquired at any point during the timeframe of Victoria.
