Well, Vicky is telling me where the problems are, but for the life of me, I can't find 'em.

i think the limit is around 350 letters...JRaup said:Nope, not it. Just checked the length, and it's under the limit. And if that was the case, the two previous events would have had problems, which they don't.
What a royal PITA scripting for Vicky is...makes HoI look easy...

to test it just comment your desc and leave an empty one like this:
#"bla bla bla bla bla...."
""

JRaup said:OK, I found all the errors and fixed them in my China events. The errors were stupid ones, ] instead of }, and I was missing two ='s. Didn't find them until I started breaking down the events inot spearate files. Dumb, dumb mistakes on my part.![]()
I also tweak the offset in the missionaries events to 180 days. I may also have to change the dates for teh Payment events, as in my test run, I had three fire in 5 weeks, then the fourth some 5 months later. Not sure what I'll do, as when teh TYreaty event fires is problematic.
Otherwise, all work as intended, and smoothly. Missionary events aren't that powerful, and amazingly enough, changed teh right ammount of POPs in teh right provinces. Go figure...![]()
NOTE: Code previously posted has been corrected, and corrected file will be uploaded to Yahoo shortly.

Keep at least three diferent files in your testings, it is way easier to debug.

From This Age of Conflict, by Chambers Grant Bayley...An area of only 50,000 square miles exporting products to the annual value of $300,000,000 was a prize of considerable magnitude. Malaya had no rubber until 1870, when the plants were first successfully cultivated from seeds smuggled out of Brazil in a British diplomatic pouch. With the advent of the automobile, demand shot up enormously, and the rubber plantations of Negri Sembilan and Pahang began to expand in proportion.

I'm thinking it could add a couple rubber-producing RGOs to British Malaya, and maybe damage relations with Brazil a little (-25 or so).
pimparel said:Already done. Both the smuggling of the seeds and the rubber outside Brazil.
