I would like to see the vinland page on your site be updated with a link to the current beta release. Now it says that beta 3 is the current release, and this may give people the wrong impression.
And please include it in the scenario depot. That will certainly increase it's availability.

I didn't notice Languish' link was changed... Anyway - even though we are close to release of a new (and hopefully the last) beta, I have updated my Vinland page with a mirror of the latest beta (5a).Languish' page is here. (Languish: The links to these forums don't work!)
I am going to package this and upload it today, irregardless of what state it is in. It is fully playable, but will be lacking some substance in certain areas.
The ToT events have not been added, nor have havards recent herjolf's events. These of course, in addition with krunchs and Aluns recent events, will be added in the first proper release.

Excellent! You had another extremely popular AAR, but maybe it is best you start over because it has been so long since you updated it...
Had i not been out of action with a terrible illness this weekend i would have. Its en route for sure.
Beta 6 - Released Tonight
I have just completed the installer for the Beta 6 release. For those who have been following the recent dialogue the events and nations that have been added, modified, removed are already known. What i have improved in addition to this is the installer.
Target Orientated
Everything is now target orientated, which makes referring other files to it far simpler. This streamlines the whole process.
Scenario File
The file, based upon target orientation, no longer requires human intervention to place it. It knows where to go.
Shortcut
I have even managed to dynamically alter the shortcut so that no matter where you put the vinland scenario it will correctly alter all necessary paths and statements. However, there is still one tiny problem that i have been unable to take out. It places " quotation marks at the start and end of the target statement. I cannot, as yet, figure out how to get rid of them. The only thing you have to do prior to launching the game is to remove them then it works fine. Irritating... but it is the ONLY human intervention required of any note.

I added a new icon for the shortcut graphic. It just seemed a little nicer on the eyes, a bit more fun if you will.
Anyway i am just glad to be rolling this out tonight. Please remember it IS A BETA and as such is not yet "perfect". Your comments, feedback, removals, modifications, additions are very much welcome and certainly needed.

The alternative of course is you can create your own shortcut, although i would rather this works
