If it helps for more events, from societies with sibling marriage, especially ancient egypt as lots of people writing about it, them being famous, we have accounts that duty was the important thing, without any pretence or expectation of love.
They were married because of Duty, to the kingdom, people and family. Love was for mistresses and concubines.

But yeah, as much fun it is to recreate Yosuga no Sora in CK2, I'd welcome some events that aren't "incest is the best now put your sister to the test" and look at the issue from different angles.

Though I wouldn't be opposed if you just kept making the pseudo-lewd events. I mean, it's the only sort of love that can banish away demons.

Yeah, I'd heard something like that as well. Turns out he didn't actually ask for permission, he just went and forged one. Gotta love the man.

Only one annoying comment :blush: (yes I know)... Hum... Hummus for a Persian as the one in the picture sounds strange, we don't eat hummus in Persia and in Central Asia, neither in the Turkic world... it is really a Lebanese - Arabic thing... (whereas baklava works beyond the Arabic world although Persian baklava are totally different and more refined, although not necessarily more delicious, than the Turkish ones, but don't get me started on this... )

So one thing that would work well with the text you displayed, and for all, would be köfte. Persians have the famous "Tabriz Köfte" which is a landmark of culinary skill as well as more ordinary ones, Turks have their own, smaller variants extending up to the Balkans, including some vegetarian varients, Arabs recognize their existence too if I am not mistaken... So the world of Köfte, in all its vibrant diversity, would make a perfect fit, I think...

That's just my 2 cents on this key issue
