It was the 1st large church to be built in the city. Inaugurated in 1397 was dedicated to St. Peter. During many centuries it was the most remarkable landmark of the city. From several miles away from the city, when even it is still not visible, it is already possible to observe the tower of the Church.
In the surroundings, like during centuries, the agriculture flourish. Now in the middle of the industrial age, many factories grown around the city. Many changes are coming... The age of progress has arrived.

You may are asking; why the city's logo isn't the representation of Saint Peter's Cathedral? It is because there is another Cathedral in the city. Cathedral of Vienna is bigger and more imponent than Saint Peter. Built much more recently, in 1626, it was the celebration for the promotion of the city to capital of the region.
It really became the true landmark of the city. Enjoy this beauty with 157 meters of height.
Since Middle Ages remains in the city some pieces of the ancient walls that surrounded the city in the past. But with the grow of the city population, and by some fires and disasters, the walls was destroyed.
The main gates and towers and the ancient fort still stand for the enjoy of the visitors.
The Archaeologists and Historians revealed the extension that walls had in the past.
This fort always had protected the city from invaders, now is one of the most visited attractions.

The city was founded near the mouth of a tributary of the big Danubius River. This smaller river is called, Ebrus. In the banks near the mouth, was created a big park named Rivierpark. In the past this banks had crop fields, but in 1778 the city governor ordered that instead of build a new neighborhood, the banks should be preserved as place for nobility and elites to enjoy the nature and the fresh ar. So, was created the first public park of the city.
An ancient roman ruin.
The park have a small fruit and vegetables market, where the best and more fresh products of the region are selled to the citizens.
TRAINS!!
The industrial age couldn't be completed without a good network of railways. The region is well served in cargo transportation, but with the increase of small villages and towns in the region, there is a lack of passengers transportation. So, was taken the decision of build the first Train Terminal station in the city.
We hope for fast works!!

After same mouths of works, the new Annburg Terminal Station is finnished!
You know from where come from the name Viennanburg? It came from the fusion of the two towns that share the Ebrus' mouth. Vienna in north was bigger and Annburg in south was a small village. When both grew enough, they became a singular city with the fusion of their names; Viennanburg.
Now Annburg is one the main districts of the city, and it have a smaller population density and is much calm district than Vienna. The district is delimited by train railway in the south.
Now with the new Train Terminal maybe the senario will change.
This is Saint Mary of Annburg Church. Built in 1634. Is the main church of the district.
