This looks really cool. Interesting that the ships are mounted on plastic whatever-they're-called. Also love the division template designer, that's such a cool detail to adapt to the board game.
Combat looks really deep, as armies have a whole range of stats.
No cardboard counters, but I suppose those who think that's really important also own board games with counters they can borrow them from .
You can also apparently go communist, facist, or democratic as any playable nation. I don't particularly care for this particular option, but I admit it will probably be interesting to play around with.
As the interviewer says, "it's a tactical wargame nested into a Eurogame where you regulate production and consumption".
Combat is "straight-forward" and "intuitive", but with all the stats it still seems deep. Combat will in most case s not be resolved immediately, as you need to do a certain amount of damage to actually win a fight, like in the video game where you have to wear down a division's organisation to rout it.
Game will be put on on kickstarter this year, released next year.
