Good point, i would like this aswell. I find it somewhat annoying because i cant go over steps, i just have to pause and edit pause and edit pause and edit.
Its not a critical problem, but it would be nice to have a text tutorial anyway. I like to watch paradoxian vids just to hear his slick ass voice mostly
I'm sorry. I cannot follow a video to make a modification. I'm by minute 3:02 and he hasn't said one thing I need to hear.
Not to diminish the effort, but tutorials should be written, so we gloss over in a second to the part we need.

I am also having this issue
edit: turns out my error had to do with dna/properties. I took it from the custom portrait maker, which seemed problematic. When I took the properties/dna from a saved game file and pasted them in their place the game worked.

So, they've made the Dynasties file obsolete now. Does anyone know where they've moved it to?
It's in the Dynasties subfolder. You don't need to replace the file to just add a new dynasty now, either. Just create a new file with whatever name you like, and put just the new dynasties in there.
