Man, I played HOI for a very long time and didn't realize that each one of the divisions had could be reinforced by the small fist symbol. Invading the Werchmact as Russia was a huge task... But when I started playing Victoria, I kept looking at the wrong spot for the fist symbol. I didn't know there was one fist that was now in the corner.

Now some people who are new to Victoria and HOI need to be told about this reinforcment feature. It doesn't say it in the manuals! I think we all went through this nightmare when learning to playing HOI and Victoria.

Great stuff, oxmonsta, additions and updates are done, and I renamed the mod at the same time in recognition of the fact that I'm far from the only one to contribute to it :)

CatsandCradles, I still discover stuff myself that I would've liked to know long ago (dunno how much time passed before I dicovered the fist icon myself, tho'); that's why I figured a mod like this might be a good idea ;D

Reinforcing armies can be done easily by pressing "fist"-icon in army data field (whatever it is called, me not know...)

You mean I don't have to go to each division and press re-enforce a zillion times? I didn't know that :D nor the one about increasing money by 10k per click in trade negotiations. See! It is usefull! Wohoo :D

How about:

Hitting the "Shift" & "?" keys simultaneously will open a search box allowing you to search for any province or country on the map. Type in the province / country name, hit "Enter" and the map will centre on that province or country.

I think you could also just hit the backslash ( \ ) key and do the same.

To make a relevant list, without people having to remember thing they found difficult, why doesn't someone search the forum for most frequent questions, and then post them as suggestions to the "hints update project"/HUP?
I think we might get some more relevant hints this way.

Like "How to unify Germany?" At least 3 of the 97 hints will be occupied :)

Seriously, I think the suggested hints are excellent. The idea is excellent too :) Maybe Paradox will include them in a new patch some day (small effort), so that new players will see them without having to install mods.

I don't have the hints near me, so maybe my suggestions are already in the game, but anyway:

- something about high militancy leading to revolts
- high consciousness leading to plurality
- plurality is how much the people want social- and political reforms
- clergymen lowering the consciousness of farmers and labourers (and raising consciousness of capitalists and others)
- it is not necessary to have a coaling station in non-coastal colonies to claim the entire colony
- last five land militairy techs are not available before 1900
