Now beeing that i am a fan of paradox i went ahead and bought the game over steam. My first reaction was pleasent seeing that its using the same engine as EU3.

Im now finished with all the tutorials and i must say its a rather daunting task coming into. Like beeing back in college with Social Studies (my major). For a newbie the amount of information thrown in your face is a little hard to chew though The game certainly feels like its has the concepts down.

This must be how newcomers to the universals franchise feel in a similar manner. Non the less ill keep at it and who knows this might become my new favorite game.

Welcome to the franchise!

I would recommend you read the Strategy Guide to help absorb some of the concepts. The Manual is intentionally vague on those -- being more clinical -- because we're assuming most will also read the Strategy Guide.

It should be located in the Victoria FAQ subforum, which will be visible if you've registered your game.

I like jumping into games. Usually I get the hang of it but if I don't I would do the toturial.

I jumped into the demo of this game and soon found that i went bankrupt.

After a while you really do get the hang of it though
