Slightly off topic question, but why? I know from past experience that they never unhid the beta forums for the EUs or HOI, but whats the point? It would be interesting to see how the development process went once we got the game in our grubby little hand and played around with a bit, just to see how far some things have come, etc. Is it NDA related, perhaps? Just curious.Originally posted by Dark Knight
Never, but you will be able to view the actual game when it is released.![]()
Well, only Johan can really answer this question.Originally posted by PriestOfDiscord

Thanks Dark Night, ...
Hmm. That was actually so fun to play, that I ought to make an AAR out of it and continue the game. Would make a splendid beta AAR: "Blood to the ankles - and Rising"
It should be noted that I hold a retail product that has already had one major patch to a somewhat higher standard than a beta release that changes radically on a daily basis and is expected to evidence unexpected behaviour - if you know what I mean.Originally posted by Quercus
This is very promising. especially when you compare it in tone to PE's 'Chopsticks in the Mist' AAR for HoI which...ended in irritation.

You mean undocumented features. Like CTDs in EU2 gave you an excuse to go to the toilet and put the kettle on.
CtDs prevent Paradox customers from suffering serious injury as they would otherwise fall unconscious from playing the game for too long a sitting.Originally posted by snuggs

No, no. That's what the 15 minutes out of every hour that you don't spend sitting down in front of the computer is for. Every game manual instructs you to take that rest, so I assume that all players doOriginally posted by Dark Knight
