Just for a rough comparison, how many provinces do HOI and EU2 have?

Really. I guess that HOI uses the same map as EU2! And persons complain there are not enough.

One side note about the proportions of land-provinces and sea-provinces. About 600-650 are sea provinces, leaving about 1000 land-provinces.
Conclusion, there are about twice as many land-provinces in Vickie than EU2...
