Short summary of your issue
Leader of IG often dying too young right together with "retreating from political life", causing unnecessary double messages

Game Version
1.0.3 vanilla

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Have you tried verifying your game files?
No

How much "pain" is this causing you?
3

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Its mainly both an immersion and UI issue, but I noticed that many leaders of interest groups die fairly young - and before each death (regardless of age) the dying person "retreats" first "from political business", only to die exactly at the same day.

Why I'm reporting this?

1. You unnecessarily receive 2 messages essentially telling you the same (old leader of the IG gone), which pile to those more useful ones you get the same moment (new leader of the affected IG, plus often a chance in relations to the IG)
2. It hurts immersion that too often these people die young (lower life expectancy in Victorian Age was mainly due higher child mortality). In case that this is to have the leaders not being in charge too long, I would suggest to make the characters (which are generated on demand anyway, correct?)
3. If we have the concept of people retreating from political life, why do they all instantly die? Again, this is merely an immersion thing.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
No special conditions probably; just start any game, let it run and pay attention to the deaths of IG leaders and the details (age, double message, hint on retreat same day as death)

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I would recommend to give the IG leaders a higher starting age and drop the concept of "retreating from political business" - that way the message spam is avoided and immersion is kept

Hi, Herennius,

Thanks for the report! We've added these observations to our database and the dev team will be looking into improving this system.
As for the notifications, there are currently double for each retirement/death as a character effectively isn't available in the game when they retire - this, however, is also something that is in our database and will be considered.

Cheers!
