Short summary of your issue
Comment-out character type that can be used for localized data (yml).

Game Version
1.0.6 - 1.1.0

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

Do you have mods enabled?
Yes

Have you tried verifying your game files?
Yes

How much "pain" is this causing you?
2

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I created Japanese localization data (yml) for the following Mod and had them adopted in the release version.
* I volunteered to provide this yml
[Economic and Financial Mod (E&F)] https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2882520908
confirmed localization with VIC3 1.0.6 - 1.1.0, but comment-out yml texts (after "#" Literals) is displayed in-game.

This could be caused by some "Don't use" characters, but I can't rule out the possibility that the comment-out functionality spec isn't working as Devs intended.

would like to do additional research/verify, so please let me know if there is a document that explains the detailed specifications for comment-out of yml.
* If it's a glitch, please fix it.

P.S. If this forum supports of (even partially) Japanese, I think we can get more feedback from unofficial Japanese community. Cheers.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Using following mods in Japanese environment.
[Economic and Financial Mod (E&F)] https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2882520908

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
A list of character types that "can be used for comment-out" in yml files, and a list of character types that "cannot be used".

I have attached a save game
No

1. I re-checked the in-game display for the following yml.
---- refer1: --------------------
01_currency_buildings_100_l_japanese.yml #22
03_currency_goods_100_l_japanese.yml #13
--------------------------------
It seems to identify until of end-of-line double-quote(") as valid literals, regardless of position of comment-out identifier "#".

2. A "multiple line" comment where there is no valid code, such as the following, seems to work as per the general comment-out specification.
---- refer2: --------------------
01_currency_buildings_100_l_japanese.yml #09 - #10
--------------------------------
