He said nothing of the sort. He said he'd work towards making them "a little less trigger happy" - Don't overreact too much. It's a work in progress, not a magical patch.

And he also said "Possibly" - again no guarantee about a timeframe. It's only a hopeful guess on his part.

Just to clarify. :)

It's a bit disappoiting that they don't seem very confident about it since it makes the game a bit broken. I don't know if it's possible but a patch to fix it as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated. I overall like the game and the new expansion. I paid good money for it (bought the game, expansions and sprite packs at full price) and other Paradox titles but it's not perfect and as a paying customer I'd love to see some improvement. It's nothing major, I like paradox and their games, they rarely let me down, just want some confirmation that they recognize the issue and will do their best to fix it, that's all.

To the devs I think overall they're doing a good job, I was never the same after playing grand strategy, got totally hooked on these games. It's nice to see games that offer, as much as it's humanly possible for the devs, representation of all the nations in the world in a historically accurate manner, unlike a lot of other games that are blatantly historically innaccurate or focus too much on Anglo and Germanic nations.

They cant just make a quick fix and release it the same day because there is a high possibility that they will break something else so they have to do QA on a lot of different systems every time they release a patch.

This is not a mod after all.

No, unfortunately you have to cheat to do that.

Open the console(Usually § or Alt+21 or Alt+0127 depending on the keyboard layout in your country) and type:
Code:
changeowner [TAG] [province id]

Change the current owner of [province id] to the country TAG specified.

If you don't know what the province id is you can type:
Code:
showprovinceid

This will show you the province id in the tooltip when you hover the mouse over a province.

Unfortunately you wont get any relationship boost by doing this so you have to go into the diplomacy screen and click increase relation so you spend some of your diplomatic points and it feels less like cheating. :p

Ah, that's a shame...In that case, I might as well spend the single point of infamy it'd take me to kick these nations out of my sphere and puppet them to discipline them. No idea if that'll work, and if it won't, I might just have to annex them altogether.

If iam right, than if a conquer a province which is a state than minorities which has cores on that state wont assimilate. (i mean i conquer wallachia as austria, than the romanian pops wont assimiliate because romania has core on wallachia).
But what if iam conquer a chinese province which is already a state? For example, i conquer guangdong province. Because Guanxi (or something like that, sry:)) has cores on guangdong, pops which culture is primary or accepted in Guanxi wont be assimilate?
Please help me in that iam totally confused:(

Exactly, they won't assimilate, unless they migrate to a non-core province.

Help me please, something going wrong in my games with the assimilation!
For example, I play as Hungary, and i conquered Tunis in the mid 50s. After a few months i checked the pops in tunis and i was happy because there were many slovakian, ukranian romanian pops(many means few hundreds). I said coll, after certain amount of time, they become hungarian and i can start to promote them to bureaucrats to convert tunis to state. But not this happaned because after few months i checked the pops again and there were only african minor and maghrebi pops. Where the european pops are dissappeared? They assimilited to maghrebi and/or african minor pops, not to hungarian? Is this possible? isn this is a bug or something? Please help me with that, because this is a common problem in my hungarian games, that i dont have accepted/primary culture migrants/pops in my colonies!

Iam playing with the latest HOD version!
Thanks in advance!

You would be better off posting questions like this in the "Quick questions / Quick answers" thread, as it doesn't belong here. This thread has outlived its use and should be allowed to die. :p

As to your question: I don't think your accepted culture ever assimilates to native colonial cultures, but I honestly haven't thought about it. More likely they left. Getting people to migrate to your colonies "en masse" isn't a sure this as far as I'm aware. You could try to set a national focus there if you haven't already.

The game autojoins small pops together to increase performance. Other than that, assimilation only happens if there's a target - so if there are no hungarians in a certain province, you can have 1000% assimliation rate, but nobody would assimilate to hungarians.

I'm in a multyplayer match.
I am the USA,first power in a war against Germany,Uk,Spain and France.
I have conquered all the Idaho(my goal),freed all the Canada, win all the ground battles and lost the naval battles.
The warscore is at 50% on my side.

But they don't want to stop the war. They cannot invade me in the mainland......what happen? The just want to continue the war....
