Podcat, can you ever add 12th page of ledger where players can see for each country:
  1. population
  2. amount of produced goods (not includint 'wasted' not sold goods) in pounds like GDP
  3. amount of actually consumed goods in pounds
  4. amount of potential consumed goods in pounds
  5. ratio p.2 to p.1 like GDP per capita
+ maybe same for country SOI

We need to see how exactly our decisions works. It would be very interest to see how this digits changes.

Otherwise we have to start thinking about some crazy savegame analyzator which will show thing I talking about :(

And this is common problem: game have a lot of delicious data but does not shows it. Like loses in battles: AFAIK game saves it but does not shows (except newspaper). It would be nice too see total loses at least for current war or better for each war had happened.

+ page 13th, with number of units of each type. Now I don't know how many, say dreadnoughts I have unless I count them myself. :)

Has anyone else noticed the problems when it comes to the "One GP Ally only" Rule?

Sphered Spain and they were already allied with Russia -> They dont ally with me, despite having better relations with me than with Russia.

Generally this rule makes alliances very unflexible. Netherlands (GP) and Russia have been allied for ages and there's no way for me to break them up.

Meanwhile as secondary power Netherlands, I got the Great Power ally penalty when I tried to ally with France, who was allied with UK, and my only ally was Luxemburg.

Also, so you removed the Congo Conference events, but didn't add events to put rubber in the Congo to replace them? Or did I miss something?

Two questions:

1. I had a colonial race against UK (playing USA). I was out of the colonial points, and when I looked again later I had more than 200 points left. I haven't released anyone nor convert a colony into state. But there was a third nation competing for the same state (Mexico), ans they withdrew. Could this had given me back my points?

2. I was in war with UK, and while chasing an enemy army, I noticed I could enter Canadian territory. They were British dominion, but neutral. How come? I couldn't do it again after the war.

Do you have a save showing this happening? If so, please file a bugreport with it. Canada should have been at war with you, AFAIK.

When you're at war with someone, you automatically have military access to all their vassals.

1) You sure that you hadn't finished colonizing somewhere else, or built new ships/naval bases?
2) You probably were at war with Canada. The flags of Satellites and Dominions don't show up in at war with section of the topbar. Check the diplomacy screen or mapmode to see if you're at war with Canada.

Could be the naval base. US builds one at the start of the game, so this could be it. I have older save game, so I'll replay that.

No, I checked diplo map mode, they were neutral.

Where did all the generals go? There were Bey of Benghazi, Bashaw of Tripoli etc. at the start of the game as Ottoman Empire. But with HoD, they no longer exist. I'm clearly sure that this is a bug though.

After 1890 then GPs can ally freely.... this is sort of historical because before this I don't remember any big three-member alliances.

I know that, but I had understood that a non-GP would not get the "GP Ally" penlty until they had a GP ally, not the other person. In this case, France did not want to ally with a secondary power because they(France) were already allied with a Great Power.

But you are right, about the only one was the League of the Three Emperors.

Are you sure about this? It is supposed to work as you described. Note there is another "too many alliances" penalty, that applies for any alliance you have. But it's only -10 or so, not -1000.

Do you have a save showing this happening? If so, please file a bugreport with it. Canada should have been at war with you, AFAIK.
No, only the save after the war, I'm affraid. Still, the diplo mapmode shows truce with UK, but not the dominions.

When you're at war with someone, you automatically have military access to all their vassals.
That makes sense, I guess. You can't use a satellite as a shield against enemy armies with such a trivial thing as denial of military access. :)

The rubber events have always been independent of the Congo Conference. However, in HoD they won't fire until the country owning the future rubber provinces (or the sphere master of the country owning them) has one of the new requirements met for the rubber events to trigger. The triggers are having certain techs or inventions that enable industries which use rubber. This way rubber is not showing up before its really needed, and we avoid mass unemployment in rubber RGOs.

Well, there used to be the Rubber in the Congo event that only fired once the Congo Free State existed. When I look in the Goods events file I see that they've added a number of new rubber provinces, but that don't match up with the events listed in the old Congo events. Though, those could be states listed there...
