Victoria as leader for Germany?

I watched a Youtubeguy which got Netherlands reject Wilhelm II. - so he chose the 3rd one and sent him to Britain, where the Hindenburg disaster happened where they all died, so Victoria Louise became Empress of the German Empire.
I tried to achieve this as well, NL rejected, I took Wilhelm III. but now what?
Did I fell for a troll, a mod or something? Or is this possible?
If so, how?

Well, I killed Wilhelm III. off by sending him to Britain. Now I have Mackensen again ...

There are two player independent things that need to happen: Hindenburg must survive and The Netherlands must refuse to give away the Kaiser (with you backing down).

Then you take decisions to reinstate Wilhelm IV into the line of succession and later introduce agnatic-cognatic primogeniture.

Finally you have to complete Ally the Shade focus, have English opinion of you at 100 and take the Titles Deprivaction Act decision. Take the first option in the following event (to send the family in Hindenburg) and voila.

By the way, do you have Austria join you in that game? How did you manage to get them into your faction for the referendum event to fire?

Ah, bummer, I was trying to figure out a way to get them to join you in referendum. Requirements are for them to be in your faction and both of you are either democratic or unaligned. But being unaligned I couldn't manage to get them into a faction.

There's event that fires if you fulfil triggers described in my previous post, that annexes Austria to Germany, giving cores.

I can't follow stuff, that's not openly described somewhere, rather doing my opening move and annex them right away, whatever route I go after

i got austria (and czechoslovakia and hungary) to join my german empire by referendum after they formed austria-hungary and joined my faction through the focus 'rekindle imperial sentiment' and waiting for the event to fire. I was pleasently surprised
