Greetings Victorians!

Today we released Voice of the People as well as the new Victoria 3 Expansion Pass - and as usual these new releases are accompanied by a free update for all owners of Victoria 3.

Please do not use this thread to report any new issues you discover - but rather file any bugreports in the bug reporting forum, thank you!

We can not give any guarantees that save files from 1.2.x will be working in 1.3 without issues which is why we recommend that you roll back your game to the previous version and finish any ongoing games you want to finish before updating to 1.3. More information on rolling back your game version can be found here! (TL;DR is go to properties in Steam -> Betas -> select the version in the dropdown list).

We hope that you will enjoy these updates for Victoria 3!

A strange thing happened today, after donwloading the patch 1.3, I tried to load my save from yesterday, I couldn't load it or any other. But after I exited and runned the game again, it worked normally.
Your big splash advertisement mentions map changes, and yet not a thing has been done to fix your outrageous map failures in the Pacific Northwest. How dare you give me false hope. You can forget having any money from me for your worthless new expansion.

Not explicitly mentioned here in this list but I just thought I'd share that Jean-Pierre Boyer finally has the correct culture in 1.3, I found this to be an exciting fix.

EDIT: Caribeño has also been removed as a primary culture for Haiti, this should probably have the effect of making the Dominican War of Independence happen more frequently.

I'm curious about "Jacksonian Democrat" ideology. Is it only meant for Andrew Jackson specifically or should it also persist for some US characters until the Civil War?
Can you guys fix some of the capital of country and capitals of states for example the capital of Sikh empire in this time period is Lahore but it’s multan in this game while Lahore is just small village and Sydney is small town while canberra didn’t even exist back then so I think Sydney would be more appropriate to be bigger city for new south’s wale and I’m sure there many more
