So the War Russia and Kazakh seems a bit, idk, too global? They just want to annex some central Asia state, and there we go, China, East India, Turkey (I think) gets involved, hmmmm, I hope in release build we have more local conflicts too, especially early on, also I don't think Qing Empire should be willing to involve this much, I think they should be isolationist.

(I think its Turkey, because in the screenshot of war it demands Armenia? Flag is weird, but Russia wants Kars from them, so. Also, if its not Turkey, then who else is to recognize Persia there?)

Japan Flags.png

These Japanese flags looks strange.
I didn't see the familiar flag'Hinomaru'.
The Imperial Way Faction (皇道派 Kōdōha) lack of representation, they only have slogans and lack symbolic symbols.

OK, new to the party with V3 - where can I find a link to each of the monthly updates please? I thought there may be a playlist on the Paradox YouTube site, but appears not to be. Does V3 have a separate YT site?

Many thanks

Does the flag mean we won't see the rising sun flag for Japan or are there would be more flags than what is shown here for those nations
I guess there are more not shown, look there is no flag of Republic of Brazil other than one that lasted for some months. and "actual" flag should be there.

As cool as the flag is, it has never actually been the National flag of Japan, so I guess they're pretty free to not use it and avoid hissy fits in the process.

I think the bottom left is what will be the flag used for an Imperial-Japan style government of a Militaristic Junta with the Emperor as figurehead.
I can't read the Kanji on the left, but the Kanji on the right of the flag reads "尊皇" - Revere the Emperor. With an absolutely monarchy already being taken by the Chrysanthemum sigil and a democratic constitutional monarchy already being taken by the regular hinomaru, that leaves the Tosei as the next possible monarchist faction.

On the other hand, it's still Japan so "Revere the Emperor" is a pretty non-partisan phrase. I could be drawing too many conclusions.

Someone in the forum pointed it out in another thread, that's the rallying flag(?) the rebels aligned with the Kōdō-ha faction used in the February 26 Incident. The text reads Sonnō Tōkan, or "Revere the Emperor, Destroy the Traitors."

They're not showing every flag in these images, just a small selection.
The top right one resembles a Merchant Ensign from the 1800s. No idea why they would include it.

The killed to wounded ratio in war support pic 3 seems to be very off compared to historical/realistic ratio. It should be the opposite imo, in other words 3 wounded for 1 dead soldier.

Also I would love it if you added prisoners of war as well that returns after the war has ended, really missed that in HOI4 as well.

Depends on the war.

US civil war, for instance, has more deaths than wounded.

2nd Zulu war has 1:2 and 1:7 wounded : killed ratios.

WW1 is closest to 3:1 ratio with 2:1.
