It's nice to see the promiced casualties count! I would love if it included prisoners of war as well!
I wonder about artillery support - we see the modifier tied to production method. But what happens to modifier if my enemy has same artillery production method and I want to gain superior firepower by numbers?

This has gotten me really interested in learning how battles work then! I admit to never expecting to see encirclements as possible so I suppose this could be an easy to learn, hard to master sort of deal then? Or at least, I hope so.

The new screenshots looks nice, escpecially interesting the shots about the franco-prussian war, but i still hopeing for more army actions not just advance or defend.

If it is what we think it is, then the new war system still has a potential to be great, simply put. Just add option to set target and launch point for an offensive of particular army. They meet up in strategic point, cut off enemy army.
Well, I really hope it doesn't go in that direction. We assign generals to fronts and tell them to advance or retreat. we shouldn't be in the business of telling them how to conduct the campaigns. Speaking for myself, I don't want them to yield to the temptation of giving players too much control.

Sure, because in reality the state had no possibilities to influence military actions in any way. General: "Let's advance to Georgia instead of russian capital Moscow, it's warmer there". Entire government together with Emperor: " But please mister general, Moscow is more important, we beg you to consider going there". General: "Heh. No." This is such a tempting scenario, so fun and realistic :)

So far the game seems amazing, but I would love if they stepped up with the granularity of the German states as far as the general game performance allows it.

The Idea:
The former hrr should be a ant house with many many micro states who all ally and rival with different grate powers and messing up the balance of power in Europe. At this time it should be a diplomatic nightmare to negotiate with all of this tiny countries effectively paralyzing any unification advantages until nationalistic interest-groups take over during a war with France for example.

Why is it important:
This very special power play in the center of Europe which demanded all of Prussia’s and Austria’s focus was a big reason those central powers had no resources to spare for any colonies at the time. After unification all interesting colonies where taken which bothered Germany as only big player without a colonial empire contributing to the first WW.

Otherwise:
Less tiny countries depicted in the former hrr means less diplomatic struggle for Prussia and Austria so they could build up colonial empires in time wich would prevent a realistic WW 1 wich none of us could want. Also it would be less fun to play. Thanks for reading and big thanks to paradox.

V3 has more German states than Vicky 2 and the only candidates that are missing are Reuss and Saxe-Altenburg because there is just no more space physically in Thuringia. Every other missing state has below 20k pop and didnt make the cut.

Michael didn't have a pickelhausse? Literally unplayable

So... Rulers can be generals now?

Also, could someone remind me what was power projection?
