Facebook is the shittiest site on the Web and I avoid it like the plague.

It really isn't.

You don't even have to do anything. You set it up, control who sees it and who doesn't, and then reap the benefits of having another way to contact friends/relatives without phonecalls or mail. If you never use it and no one else can see it, who cares, that's up to you. But at least you'd have access to opportunities like this one.

As far as the Picture, I LOVE it. It's great concept art, and much more appealing to the public than a plump, middle aged woman wearing a crown sitting on a throne.

u people should be thankful for the contest, instead of bringing up an irrelevant argument. if it was to be done in twitter, the facebook people would wine about it too, making us go in circles. it's on facebook, so if u want to take your chances, make an account and delete it after the end of the week.

We aren't lazy, we just realized that you guys could think of a lot better taglines than any "pr-guru".

Elpasha is exactly right. We run competitions on the forum, twitter, facebook, on gaming websites or via newsletters. In short we run competitions where the community is.

So complaining about stuff you don't like just makes you sound like a grumpy old man (or woman). Get on the band wagon or don't, just be happy we're doing stuff.

Bemoaning the fact won't encourage us to more stuff for the "grumpy forum dudes".


Btw, people can expect a second trivia contest in the OT forum during next week.

No, no, those are the French, but they redesigned their flag. Apparently, having three identical stripes of red, white and blue had gone out of fashion, so they went with a more modern "stars and stripes" approach.
