Victoria 2 - lost case and cd key

Hi

I purchased Victoria 2 a few months ago, via Amazon.com, but didnt register the game at the time of installation due to various factors: lack of time, limited internet access etc. Now, since i have the time and wanted to post on the forum, i cannot find the case: i have the disk and paperbox but have misplaced the actual case.

Is there anything i can do?

Edit: Will one be able to find the code within the registry somewhere?

No, the codes are entered here on the site and not in your machine in any way. They are forum registration codes and nothing to do with the game installation.

You should PM Kallocain here with whatever proof of purchase you can muster: a photo of the disk and box, of your receipt from Amazon, stuff like that.
