Nice, someone must have listened to my suggestion for periodic newspapers as flavor. Excellent.
Still, I think that the newspaper-articles that point to a new war could be better. I mean, would a war between France and the UK really only be reported as "The United Kingdom attacks France with CB The United Kingdom demands concessions from France."
First of all, this is a war in which millions will be lost, thousands, tens of thousands will die, and two great powers like the UK and France at war will shake the very foundations of the current order. The current text is underwhelming, to say the least.
Secondly, the sentence doesn't make sense grammatically. I know I am bad, but "A attacks B with CB"? Would CB be a familiar term for the 19th century gentleman? Why not "Great powers in conflict! The United Kingdom declares war on France. The United Kingdom demands a concession from the republic of France. With the war escalating, who knows which countries will be dragged into the fight. Already the British dominions are mobilizing their forces, and the French ally of Sardinia has declared that it will stand with France to the end...." These phrases could easily be based on gameplay events, with names changing as needed.

Wow I am a little surprised that this has a Q1 release date as we are already halfway through Q1! I guess this will motivate me to finish my AAR before then as I doubt it will translate over into HOD very well.
Was finally going to do my first AAR on this game but now I am going to wait for this.

Which is why I don't understand the lack of DD's. We don't even know when they're gonna start making them, and the latest this game can come out is March 31st if it's sticking with a Q1 release.
Even if they´d be doing weekly DDs from now on, it could be at max. 6.
Exactly, I think it was podcat who said that there won't be as many as AHD, but AHD had 15! That's less than half, and with so many new features in this expansion there's a lot of ground to cover. I'm eagerly awaiting this release, I've been a fan of V2 since the day it came out despite it's problems. I just want to know more.
I would also like to see some DDs soon. Look out Paradox, the radicalism of the developer diaries movement is growing and you may not have enough suppression points to stop it 
Will Vic2:HoD include balance changes to the late game (economy mostly) and combat in general ?
I like the new features so far, but since I mosty ply minors I hardly get to colonize much.

At this point, the game is 40 days or less away, release delay notwithstanding. A good set of post-release designer notes would suit me just fine.

Sure as a freebee, that is a lot like how it will work (its a bit more involved because you can add multiple goals etc though).

If you mean you want a reason why, then:
Every time I form Germany, or the North German Federation, I get a load of Prussian nationalists (usually upwards of 300,000). It doesn't make any sense because Prussia made the nation so why should Prussians be mad about it...? One thing that could be edited that would be good is an event coming up after the creation of the German empire that eliminates all of the minor-German cores. It just isn't very fair having so many small little German cores when at the time they would have never seperated from a nice German empire they could be proud about
