Born and grow up in the Communist country,I am not going down that road again
Do not take this post so serious,I didn't change my political stance in RL. Vicky made me a die hard dictator only in the game
And being a HOI2 player Victoria made appreciate the slow and steady approach to gaming :D

Why not? Also lived under Real Socialism for most of my life, but not everything was so bad. :)

BTW: Communism was/is an utopia. It never existed anywhere in the world. Just all rulers used that beautiful idea for their own purposes. :D Thats why I think deep down every single person in the world is a Communist. :p And thats why Communism is such beautiful form of gov in V/R. Beacaue it is in purest form possible. ;)

Winston Churchill - "If you are not a socialist by the time you are 25, you have no heart. If you are still a socialist by the time you are 35, you have no head"

I thought it was "A man who is not a socialist by 20 has no heart. A man who is still a socialist by 50 had no brain".

Mmm... when I first really started playing Vicky, I remember *always* going liberal, and turning every monarchy into a Democracy as soon as the plurality was high enough. Around this time, I randomly decided to go against my norm and played a game as Russia in which I tried my absolutely damnedest to avoid changing government, or to switch ruling parties. While I feel like I was less productive with my nation that I could have otherwise been, it was a *great* deal more fun dealing with all the Russian revolts and unrest. Since this time, I never fret when I have a conservative party in power.

I guess I usually like to play to a countries historical leanings. USA can go whatever direction they please, but usually end up with Republican's holding office from 1860 until 1936. Russia and the Ottomans are just the opposite: sticking to their conservative absolute monarchies for as long as possible until an overthrow is imminent or I find some historical date for implementing a Con Mon.
