In my German 1936 GC, I allied with Franco, beat the Republicans, and had 9 Pz divisons + 5 inf div + 1 HQ on the French border when I went to war.
These divisons steamrolled all over southern France, and when I took Strasbourg and airdropped into Paris, the Vichy France Event occured.
Since I didn't feel like spending a month mopping up the remaining French armies when I could be preparing Sealion in November/December 1939, I went with Vichy.
Now, the non-Vichy provinces I had invaded via Spain I supposed would go to Spain, but then it turns out Spain gets provinces in Vichy too!
And the Owner of said provinces is France!
Also, the Spanish North African provinces got occupied by France as soon as the war started, but when France surrendered they were still occupied.
