Vichy-France and neutrality

There are not many options for getting Vichy to join the Axis. One might be that the allies dow them via event or that USSR dow Germany IIRC.

What about an event where Germany offer Vichy a province from France or Swizerland(Geneva)
If Germany controls Paris, Kiv and Leningrad, Portugal,Spain and England is in the Axis maybe that could make Vichy more interested to work closer with Germany?

I thought after a time an event fires that makes them become part of Germany? I could have sworn that happened to me at least once.

Can you also not just attack them them annex and puppet them?

no you cant Vichy is only possibel by event. There is an event that makes it possibel for Germany to annex Vichy when I USA involve themself in north africa.
