Vichy Creation CTD

Hi,

I had a problem tonight with the Vichy creation event.
The event ( I don't know the number) that speaks about Petain gaining power in France (it's the one firing 24 hours after the armistice) is bugged in my game, as it causes a CTD.
I was playing Germany from 1933 on. In this game I fired the event to create the Wehrmacht manually because it didnt fire by itself, even it was 1936. Also I used some cheats to "see what is in there...". I attach the latest savegame, shortly after the Vichy event chain should fire.

Is the crash reproducible from this save? Any steps I should follow in order to reproduce it?

Hi, sorry couldnt get in here quicker.
this savegame is probably 1-2 weeks before the capitulation, its right before the fall of Paris.
I did several tries, but every time the event fires its the same, so I dont think you will have a hard time reproducing it.

And yes, its a savegame from the newest beta patch

Actually I failed to reproduce the crash.
There are 2 other similar reports with saved games and neither me or ^_AC_^ can reproduce a crash/freeze with these.
We're using the very last game files, but I tried also with 1.02.b1.

Could be an issue with missing files with the installer? Is the reporter on steam?

You guys should include a better (not 4 letters) checksum Martin for debugging. QuickSFV or something.

hmm, I buyed the game at gamersgate, so I dont think it has something to do with Steam installations...

can a crash like this be caused by modifications in misc.txt? I ask, because I set the tec teams to 7 slots...

Shouldn't be an impact.

I uploaded my MD5/CRC checksum to Mediafire. Try checking it and see if there are any errors. (use QuickSFV, RapidCRC, etc.)
