Has a World War 2 veteran ever played an entry into the Series? If so, how was their reaction.

Why and how do you suppose a WW2 veteran has played this game series?
Because they are not all dead?
Or are you claiming that people over 70 have no capability for sitting in front of a PC and playing a game? I know elderly people who play MMOs (and have plenty of time to grind thanks to being retired....).
I am not saying that. I am saying that there is really low, really low chance of real WW2 veterans (as in, having been deployed near fronts at least once) playing a Paradox strategy game series about WW2.
If my 60+ mother can play This War of Mine for four hours straight
They value their remaining time too much to waste in on computer games.Because they are not all dead?

She missed an episode of Law and Order to play This War of Mine.Indeed.
Actually, I bet if my grandfather was still alive, he'd be interested in at least fiddling around with the game. Managing the economy of a country and running its politics might pique his interest. Although he probably would want to focus on Europe (he didn't often speak of his experiences in the Pacific.)

I was not opposing or disagreeing with the OP, mate. I was simply asking how and why can it be considered so plausible. A whole lot of WW2 veterans are dead, and I think the gamers who are WW2 veterans are also living mostly in the western world (and thus are only a percentage of WW2 veterans).
