How do I build temples? They aren't in my build bar and I wouldn't know where else to find them. Am I blind?
Any help would be great as I'm on turn 200 and all the gods hate me xD although my empire is big and I'm having lots of awesome wars. Can't stop playing the game!!

Thanks!

Oh, yes this is true. If relations with some god are bad (-20 I think or more), then you can't make their temples.

Also what temples you can made depends of race which built city near holy ground.

Ah I see! Ok I didn't know about the holy grounds, I love how this game makes you want to fight to keep your hexes, because you really do need them! And yes they probably just hate me too haha

You will need postive relations with a god before you can build their temples (on holy sites). Also by getting a good relations with one god, you are likely to upset those from the opposite side of good/evil. Check the diplomatic situation screen to see what yours is.

There 4th Tech page (in one of the stickies above) shows you what races can build what temples and what units then become available. Dont know but it may help you!

Sorry for the previously cryptic answer. Multitasking.

Oh ok thanks, I kept being asked to build one, but didn't know how, so didn't, and in the end this meant everyone hated me lol xD On another note I was 250 turns into the best war I have ever had in any game like this (so this and civ haha) but suddenly it goes 'dude has one' and it's the fat green guy who I hadn't fought yet, and barely seen. And I click ok, and that's it. What happened? I had a holy site and had a big empire :'(

Yeah, only accept those quests when you know you have a free holy site within the boundaries of your city OR can get one in 20 turns (quest duration). Plus its an idea to keep an eye on your relations with gods ever few turns so you know the situation if these quests arise.

As for the best war ever, I had some amazing games during beta. So I know exactly what you mean.

That reminds me.... I have an AAR to write. :)

He properly cast the spell of unity. Much complaining about it. It is a spell that cost 5000 mana and take 20 turns to cast. You can see what a mage is casting under their window in diplomacy. If you see one casting unity and have learned counterspel, then just counter it ;)
