First of all, I wanted the team to know I have a huge collection of WW2 radio broadcasts that I would be willing to give them if they would send me a PM (mp3 format).

But something that was missing in the 3rd game that I sorely missed were the individual industries. It was always really cool having General Electric, Supermarine, Lockheed, Boeing, Rheinmetall Borings, Messerschmitt, etc. It gave you a sense of being there. I thought it was an ingenious addition, to be frank. I sorely felt its absence in the last incarnation. I dearly hope that you consider bringing them back. Also to have events or take actions that can strengthen the attributes of industries in general, and that they can be hampered by strategic bombing, etc.

Also, "war reports" or "casualty lists" that depict as close as possible actual death toll, loss of equipment, production disruption by strategic bombing, etc. Would be an immense addition towards realism. I am trying to be concise, and brief, because nobody wants to read a book in the forums. ;) Thanks for making such wonderful games.

First of all, I wanted the team to know I have a huge collection of WW2 radio broadcasts that I would be willing to give them if they would send me a PM (mp3 format).

And you own the IP for them? In many countries (including the United States, potentially until 2067) recordings made during WW2 may still subject to copyright unless they fall within an exception., so it may be impossible to use them in-game.

In the interests of "realism"... these reports would have to be highly ficticious for certain factions.

Or at least, totaly inacurate.

The Russians, for example, had a disconcerting habbit of reporting the destruction of more tanks that the Germans actually had whilst, at the same time, covering-up or "massaging" their own loss figures. And the Germans did the same, of course.

As another example... just how many times did Germay claim to have sunk the Ark Royal? And both American & Japanese pilots (probably in good faith) claimed sinkings that didn't happen.

Could this be a feature of Democracy, perhaps? Where your casualty reports are somewhere close to reliable?

The Fog of War is all pervasive.

Individual factories is a big NO for me since we already have a game focusing on this (Victoria) and since HoI should be centered around warfare.

War reports/Casualty lists is a good idea though and since it have been requested for a long time I would be surprised if Paradox didn´t include it in HoI 4.

I think you hit the Jackpot big time here.
I for one would love to see the game acknowledge the TRUTH that the character of a government dictated not just military tactics, but also the entire way the war was conducted from Production to Intelligence.
The US was forced by public opinion to squander enormous resources defending the Home-Front against a mostly imaginary threat, the Japanese constantly had to deal with the insubordination and warmongering of lower ranking officers, and the Soviets imprisoned many of their best generals and only released them back into the army once they were engaged in a major war.

The fact that the Soviets 'only' imprisoned most of the officers purged during 1937-38, the number of killed officers where probably less then 10.000 in total, is something I hope Paradox takes into consideration so we don´t have to see another ahistorical purge where all officers are considered killed. Some of the purged officers in the end went on to become well known high rank war heroes in the USSR. The most prominent and well known is probably Konstantin Rokossovsky who where tortured and imprisoned only to be released in 1940 and later went on to become a Field Marshal responsible for the critical Operation Uranus where the 6th army was encircled in Stalingrad.

I am pretty sure he meant as tech teams like in HOI2. Having the different industries to do research.

What Paradox could do is give the player 100% accurate reports of your own losses, whereas the enemies are an approximation and become more accurate as certain technologies get researched more

I think already have a few threads on this.

No you SHOULD NOT have casualty reports after eveyr battle the way that EU IV does it... can imagine the war with USSR and Germany? The war with Poland would be enough for me to disable these popups instantly.

The casualty reports should be somewhat accurate for your side, but not very accurate for the other side if at all. You should also get casualty reports like maybe once a month on a theater by theater basis.

After the game is over you should get 100% accurate reports for both sides, as if you are looking back on history. And I don't mean quitting the game, I mean actually finishing the game.
