After an update, the beta system likes to forget the previously used version for some reason. I was able to fix that by putting the password in again.

I'm interested in your reasoning for playing that version. I don't have anything against it but I'm interested to find out what that version has that makes it better.

If you wonder, then you probably don't play with mods too much. It is not hard to finish your "vanilla" CK2 game and move on with new patch. The problem is when you are using mods - and the mod you are playing is not updating fast enough to cover it!

For example, I am still playing my After The End mod game from 2.8.3.4. - because I still feel like doing so (despite the fact I was really itching to finally play HF and now GW version). But of course, new updates and disappearing betas don't help ending the game....
