With the release of 1.30, it is much more flexible in terms of which territories can be placed in trade companies. However I find it a bit odd that no nations start with any territories as designated trade companies at 1444, more specifically Venice and Genoa.

To me it would make much more sense if the Venetian Stato da Màr and the Genoese holdings by the Black Sea would start as a trade companies rather than as states.
