Still have to pick a side in the upcoming massive religious war in the Empire. I may not care much about the Pope but for political reasons I have made my choice.

This war goes well. I think the time has come though to destroy the Ottomans. We win this war and then I rebuild my forces and marshal my allies and then we move east to safeguard the trade of Europe and my coffers.
I like how this looks. All those blue stripes on Ottomans land. A harbinger of things to come perhaps?
Not only does my cunning plan deny the Ottomans an easy way to expand into some rather valuable territory but instead I get that land and it gets me much easier access to the east!
Hopefully after a little while I will be the one buying land in the east for funnelling trade and money up along the oceans currents all the way to me.
A great and glorious victory achieved by none other than me, Venice. Our republic is the only hope Europe has for a prosperous future. I am totally not getting full of myself.

Hungary is getting rather big don`t you think? I might need to call on my Russian friend's to do something about this.
This is definitely one of the earlier crushing of the Ottomans in the games I play. All thanks to Venice I am sure we can agree.
Time for another bite into the east. I like to think of this as a grand plan to funnel the wealth of the Spice Islands to Venice.
Think I should keep driving them away or just keep them off the one side of the Bosphorus?
I really need a way to attack the Papal State. They are breaking up my country in ways I really don't like. Bad Papal State. Bad Pope.
They are basically broken now. Though I suppose they might manage to flee east? Just to get away from the merchants of Venice.
Time now for finishing off the land I desire from the Mamluks. They should be happy though this will keep the Ottomans from them right? Sure. That is my excuse.
Time to get in on that sweet sweet spice trade I am thinking right? For the flavors!
Borders still have a few issues. A little holdout here and there of the Ottomans and of course the inevitable desire to smash Austria or Hungary to fix things.
