Vassals in the HRE question

I'm Brandenburg and I have one vassal, Anhalt. Austria is the Emperor and is close to getting "Revoke the Priveligia" which makes everyone in the HRE their vassals. I already left the HRE.

What happens when all the HRE states become Austria's vassals? Will Anhalt become their vassal or remain my vassal?

My guess is that you'll be fine.

In my only game (so far) I was Great Britain (not in the HRE) and had Milan as a junior PU partner. When Austria vassalised the HRE, Milan remained my junior partner and left the HRE.

If Austria passes Revoke Privilegia, then your vassal will become their vassal.

It depends, and it's entirely up to Anhalt. If they agree to the reform, they will be Austria's vassal instead of yours.

If Anhalt accepts the reform, they accept becoming Austria's vassal.

This. Any current member of the HRE that accepts the reform becomes the Emperor's vassal, regardless of any other treaty in effect.

The only good news is that an AI emperor does not pursue 100% acceptance like a player would. I'm not sure if they will try to enact it as soon as they can, but they almost always lose at least a few.
