Vassalizing the Pope..

So, I tried vassalizing him in every possible way (including doing as the ingame tooltip states with having the anti-pope be a family member) and he simply will not be vassalized. Is this broken now or does the tooltip need to be updated as he's intended not to be vassalized? I found the idea of playing a strong Holy Roman Emperor to be less savory when you have to always bow to your religious head.

Vassalizing the pope has been made more difficult to be accomplished in the last patches.

Not 100% sure if this works anymore but have you tried the following way:
> Find a guy with a strong claim on a kingdom
> Give him a bishopric
> Make him an antipope
> Press his claim on the kingdom (making him a king-bishop)
> Press his claim on the papacy

Works. Any king-bishop vassal you make antipope then press his claim on the papacy remains your vassal. You can make him antipope after he's king.
