Vassal Names on the map?

When you vassalise a country, even if they are large their name doesn't show up and it's just covered by your own country's name. Is there an option to make it so that vassals retain their name on the map when zoomed out?

I reckon it would be pretty cool if vassaled nations had names like overseas territory, so say if France vassaled Italy, the name would become French Italy.

A game I'm playing has my Benin vassal as French Benin.

Because that is overseas.
