I play as persia. Year 1550, ironman. My ally Shammar offered me the knowledge sharing of colonialism. I agreed. A year later, colonialism appeared in my port (not in the capital), but nevertheless, in a natural way, it will take too long. I originally planned to vassalize Shammar in order to feed him Saudi Arabia. What happens to the deal if I do vassalize them? The deal canceled or not?

If you diplo vassal them I think you keep paying them for it until it appears in your capital or 10 years have passed. Only way I know of to cancel knowledge sharing with another nation is if your at war with them. Unless there is a new way to cancel it since I don't even bother embracing anymore as it don't give a tech cost penalty.
