Vassal creating trade company

I am playing as the pope and have as a march the knights and i gave him some provinces near Jerusalem. As I wanted to convert them, I noticed that he had put them in a trade company, so I couldn't change their religion.

Do you have any idea how i could revert that without integrating my vassal or at least prevent it from happening in the future ?

I do wish they made a way for the player to block their own vassals from creating TCs. I'd say a One Faith is arguable harder now than ever before. Without integrating, you might need to seize the land via vassal interaction screen and convert yourself. That's the only thing I can think of.

Najd failed me.

Also I didn't checked that the other side of the Caucasus is considered as overseas territory for Najd. Also wish Paradox can add an auto convert settings in the Religion tab
