1. Negative vassal opinion based on distance from capital duchy/county. This would be modified depending on feudal authority and title type (modifier would be greater if the realm is a duchy compared to a kingdom or an empire). This would have the potential to keep realms more realistic simulating the real challenge in keeping control of faraway vassals.
-A possibility of the vassal getting a rebel army for a given amount of time.
2. More diplomacy casus belli types. For example a casus belli for realms where you have troops in their territory for an extended amount of time if they are not your ally.
- Negative opinion modifier while you have troops in their realm against your ruler. This would be nullified if you are allies in a war.
- A percentage chance of that realm getting a show superiority casus belli against your realm (while you have troops in their territory). This modifier would be based off of technology, religion group/religion, and whether your realms are allies/allies in a war.
