Yes, but they're tied to your loyalty to the liege. There are events that can give you the 'loyalist' and the 'rebellious' traits. If you have the 'rebellious' trait, and low loyalty, there will be events.
(Also low loyalty will also cause those effects, I think.)
Also. If the liege has 'realm duress', a civil war is either already happening, or about to happen.
