Vassal and diplo-annex questions

Couple questions: Is there a way to arrange a royal marriage with a nation that is already your vassal? Also, is there a way to end the vassalship without the -3 stab?

Lastly, I notice that some nations have more than one national culture. Is there a way to add cultures to your national culture? I know how to script this with events, but is there a way to do it through clever politicing?

1.Vassalship is a stronger form of RM, So no!, But also why would you need one?
2.Have them break the vassalage!
3.No way to add cultures except by event. ( you can lose them this way as well! )

Thanks for the response.

The reason I would want a RM is to diplo-annex them. The reason I wanted to do that was to see if their culture would be added to my own, but it doesn't.

How do you make them break the vassalage? What kind of things do you have to do before they decide enough is enough?

You do not need a RM to diplo annex!
Just the ability to have one if they were not your vassal.

Kick the out of your alliance.
when someone recuits them to thiers, DOW their new ally.
Have low relations.
Ask to annex them.
...

I'd go the ask them to annex route, after all, you might get lucky and get the whole pie, or you might get lucky and get a CB to get most of the pie...

So you get a CB on somebody for recruiting them into their alliance? Or do you declare war without a CB?

I didn't realize you could annex without a RM. That's good to know.

No you do not gain a CB for that. But you may have one already against the recruiter or you can manufactor one with them, or just eat the stability and DOW without a CB.
